Liposuction - Arms / Axillary Before & After Case 5, Coeur d'Alene, ID, Spokane, WA

This patient is a 50 year old perimenopausal, athletically built, female is good physical condition. She works out regularly and is an account manager for her program at a major university. She initially presented requesting evaluation for facial volume loss. During her consultation the conversation gravitated towards body sculpting and Smartlipo. After going through menopause she noticed some weight gain and fat deposits that have been difficult to manage with diet and exercise alone. Problem areas she wanted to address were her arms, hips and stomach (abdomen). She is in good health and interestingly on physical examination we found an umbilical hernia in addition to the fat deposits she was interested in treating. She also had sun damage to multiple areas revealing brown spots and active wrinkles. Multiple other treatment recommendations were made including: Dysport for frown lines, and IPL or intense pulsed light and hydroquinone for brown spots, and Juvederm for facial volume loss and wrinkles. She also had Affirm fractionated laser treatments for facial skin laxity. The photos show her arms preoperatively and 7 months post op. Note the brown spot verifying this is the same patient. She was very pleased with new shape of her arms and even more pleased with the obvious skin tightening associated with the Smartlipo procedure. Because she was so pleased with her arms, she went on to have Smartlipo on her abdomen at which time we repaired her umbilical hernia under local anesthesia right here in the office. Between procedures she got re-married!
