Liposuction - Inner and/or Outer Thighs Before & After Case 8, Coeur d'Alene, ID, Spokane, WA

This patient is a 39 year old newly married woman living in the Spokane and Coeur d’ Alene area who loves to travel. She was initially seen in February 2009 for consultation and was interested in body contouring in multiple areas. In recent years she had been able to lose 50 lbs., but was having some difficulty losing recently. We initially performed the Smartlipo liposuction procedure on her abdomen and flanks. We discussed the possibility of a tummy tuck or abdominoplasty as an option, but the patient was clearly interested in the minimally invasive nature of this procedure under local tumescent anesthesia instead of general anesthesia. One week later we performed Smartlipo laser liposuction on her neck and finally 2 weeks later performed the same body sculpting procedure here in our Coeur d’ Alene office on her inner knees, inner thighs and outer thighs. The procedures all were tolerated very well and the patient had some good drainage from the incisions which are intentionally left open to drain for a better overall outcome and recovery. She was a little sore but diligently wore a compression garment for 2 weeks to help with remodeling and contouring. These photos were taken 6 months after her procedure with noted improvement in her size and shape. Look at the improve appearance of her cellulite. Her hip measurement dropped from 48½” to 42½”, a 6 inch loss and significant change in how her clothes fit and felt. The rewarding part of our job is to see the change in our patient’s confidence and the boost this procedure gives them in making healthy diet and exercise decisions. In addition to Smartlipo, she has been treated with Dysport and dermal fillers for facial wrinkles and loss of volume.
