Cellulite Reduction Before & After Case 2, Coeur d'Alene, ID, Spokane, WA

This is a 52-year-old woman who is a regional manager with her company and travels throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and the Western U.S. for her job. She is a frequent flyer and constantly on the go. She has tried exercise and dieting but the inches just would not come off. She wanted to treat excess fat and she has become frustrated with the appearance of her cellulite. She was interested in Smartlipo because of the quick recovery and her ability to return to work within a few days of the procedure. She was also fearful of general anesthesia and was only willing to perform a minimally invasive procedure that would address her saddle bags, the shape of her buttocks, inner thighs and improve the appearance of her cellulite. Cellulite is a difficult problem to treat. The dimpled appearance arises from the small connecting ligaments between the skin and muscle. This creates a mattress button effect with the resulting appearance of cellulite. Cellulite is extremely common affecting more than 90% of all women. An added benefit of laser lipolysis is the improvement in the appearance of cellulite. The patient had a total of 1.6 liters of fat removed from the inner and outer thigh and the banana roll (fatty accumulation just below the gluteal crease on the upper posterior thigh). She took only 2 pain pills the night of the procedure. She transitioned the next day to Tylenol and Advil only. These photos show several views before and 6 weeks after Smartlipo laser liposuction. Note the improved appearance of the cellulite throughout. The patient went on the have Smartlipo performed on her abdomen and flanks (3 liters) as a separate procedure only 9 days later.
